Ruchi Sabharwal – Headteacher and author
Ruchi Sabharwal is an experienced headteacher, educational leader, and published author with a strong track record of driving school improvement and fostering inclusive, growth-minded learning environments. Currently leading a large primary school, Ruchi is known for her strategic vision combined with an empathetic and collaborative leadership style that empowers teachers and leaders at all levels.
She has delivered keynote presentations and workshops at leading institutions such as the Faculty of Education, Cambridge University, Canterbury Christ Church University, and numerous national education conferences. Her expertise includes curriculum design, assessment, behaviour management, mentoring, and leadership development, all grounded in evidence-based practice and current educational research.
Ruchi’s book Learning Without Fear (Crown House Publishing, 2019) received ‘Highly Commended’ recognition at the Nursery World Awards. She is also a frequent contributor to educational publications including Optimus Teaching Magazine and Teach Primary, where she shares practical insights on pedagogy, behaviour strategies, and leadership.
With extensive experience mentoring trainee and early career teachers, Ruchi is passionate about developing the next generation of educators.
