This is an open letter addressed to the Labour government with over 1500 signatures from educators and other concerned parties working across social care (and related agencies). The letter calls for urgent action on safeguarding and child protection, in light of the recent riots in the UK.
In response to the far-right, extremist, Islamophobic/Muslim hate riots in the UK in Summer 2024, the BAMEed Network facilitated a co-created collection of useful events and resources to support those in education settings to address Muslim hate crimes and racism, and begin their anti-racist journey.
