Decolonising the curriculum removes specific limitations in disciplinary knowledge reliant on the assumption of racial hierarchy in knowledge production. However, one should be aware that female and LGBTQ+ contributions are also victims of colonial limitations and key to opening up vital and illuminating fields of study.
