This free, self-directed online course is designed for anyone involved in recruiting, training, mentoring or supporting trainee teachers, including school and trust leaders, ITT and ECT leads, school-based mentors, teacher educators and colleagues with responsibility for DEI, recruitment or professional development.
The course explores practical, evidence-informed approaches to inclusive recruitment, retention and belonging, assessment, progression and reducing bias within the ITT journey.
It can be completed flexibly and provides opportunities for colleagues to reflect on their own practice and identify practical changes they can implement within their school or setting.
