Ahmad Dolani – Doctor of Education (EdD), Educational Leader, Strategic Advisor and Researcher

Ahmad Dolani is an accomplished educational leader, strategic advisor, and Doctor of Education researcher with over 25 years of international experience across the UK, Middle East, and global education sectors. His expertise spans educational leadership, governance, safeguarding, policy development, and international education partnerships.

His doctoral research focuses on diversity, cultural representation, and inclusion within education and public institutions, with a particular emphasis on the engagement and influence of Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic (BAME) communities in school governance and decision-making structures.

Ahmad holds multiple senior governance and advisory roles. He serves as a school governor in Liverpool, contributing to strategic leadership, safeguarding, and school improvement. He is also an Independent Custody Visitor and a member of the Merseyside Police Commissioner’s scrutiny panel, where he plays a key role in promoting transparency, accountability, and equity within the criminal justice system.

In addition, he contributes to national education development through his involvement with professional bodies and advisory groups, and works within further education supporting student progress, inclusion, and attainment. His international experience includes leadership, curriculum development, and system-building roles across the Middle East, as well as advisory work supporting UK government education initiatives and global partnerships.

Ahmad is a strong advocate for meaningful representation, social justice, and inclusive leadership. His work is informed by both professional expertise and lived experience, offering a nuanced perspective on the challenges and opportunities facing BAME communities in education and wider public life.
