She holds a BSc Hons in Quantity Surveying (University of Cape Town) and an Executive MBA from Lancaster University Management School. She commands over 20 years’ experience across a portfolio of high- value projects and programmes in the Construction Industry. She has an impressive track record in collaborative, cross-functional teamwork within high-pressure environments.
Precious is Founder of Carus Advisory Services a boutique construction and management consultancy where she works with and advises construction firms, developers, and private clients to drive value and improve their organisational & project performance.
Precious believes ‘Knowledge is Power’, her passion for leadership and building inclusive and resilient teams has given Precious the opportunity to develop this competency and capability where as a Cranfield University Executive Development Associate & Facilitator where she has experience curating and developing leadership modules on inclusive leadership, strategic leadership and how to develop high performing teams She also engages and facilitates training sessions with wider organisational teams on sustainable business practices. Precious delivers Senior Executive Leadership training to teams including FTSE 250 organisations. She is an advocate of Diversity Equity & Inclusion and a strategic change expert drawing from her own professional and personal experiences she supports organisations to develop DE&I strategies aligned with their wider organisational strategy and supports them in the implementation of these. She speaks widely on various DE&I topics.
Precious is a Non-Executive Director for Milton Keynes University Hospital Foundation Trust. She is passionate about community engagement and being a conduit for meaningful engagement with marginalised communities. Social and economic inclusion are important to Precious. She currently serves as a Trustee for the Milton Keynes Community Foundation and is chair of the Milton Keynes Ethnic Business Community (MKEBC).
She is a mentor for the Aleto Foundation and Roots Inspire sharing the vision of celebrating success and nurturing future leaders providing a platform to advocate for the ‘seeing is believing’ campaign. She supports individuals in their early careers drawing from her own experience and knowledge of some of the barriers faced in accelerating one’s career. She is passionate about empowering her mentees.
