Sarah’s current PhD research embraces the worlds of design, education and mental health, exploring Black students’ mental and emotional well-being in the context of university life, through creative methods. Sarah also tutors creative students and delivers workshops on a variety of topics, such as practical design skills and theory. 

She is available to speak on topics such as Black student well-being, co-design, participatory design, design thinking and theory, critical race theory and critical pedagogy.
