Many of us no doubt will have heard of the news story where US Republican Congressman, Ted Yoho was reported to have berated the congresswoman, Alexandra Ocasio-Cortez on the house steps on Monday. He berated her because she pointed out that “some of the increased crime during the coronavirus pandemic could be traced to rising unemployment and poverty.” (No doubt in what she says) Yoho then pointed his finger in her face called her, “disgusting, crazy and dangerous and a fucking bitch” all in front of a fellow Congressman and news reporters. But what came next gave me for one goosebumps and made me cry tears of frustration. Her response.
